Two Beautiful Programmes

We've designed two distinct programmes for our youngest dancers — because every stage of childhood deserves its own special place to grow.

Mini Robyns

First steps into a world of movement

Mini Robyns is the perfect gentle beginning. Through imaginative themes, music, and play, our tiniest dancers discover what their bodies can do — building balance, coordination, and a beaming love of moving. Every class is a little adventure designed to make children feel safe, celebrated, and excited to come back.

Building real technique with real joy

Little Robyns takes the joy and wonder of Mini Robyns and begins to weave in structured technique. As children grow in confidence and capability, their classes develop with them — introducing proper ballet and tap foundations, performance skills, and the excitement of dancing with purpose. The fun never stops; it just gets more brilliant.

What to Expect

🎵

Music & Movement

Every class is filled with carefully chosen music that sparks imagination and teaches rhythm. Children learn to really listen and respond with their whole bodies.

Encouragement at Every Turn

Our teachers celebrate every effort and every small win. Children leave class feeling proud, capable, and excited for next week.

👯

Friends & Community

Dance is better together. Children form real friendships in our classes — many families have been with us for 5, 8, even 11 years.

🏆

Performance Opportunities

From our annual Parents Watching Week to end-of-term showcases, every child gets the thrill of performing — on their terms, in their own time.

📚

Structured Progression

Our curriculum is designed to grow with each child — from Mini Robyns through to Little Robyns and beyond, every step builds naturally on the last.

🧡

Parents Ask Us…

Absolutely! Mini Robyns is designed entirely for children with no dance experience whatsoever. We start from zero and make every child feel completely at ease. All you need to bring is enthusiasm.
During regular classes, children typically settle better without parents in the room — though for very first classes we're completely flexible. We hold an annual Parents Watching Week at the end of each term where families are warmly invited in.
This is very normal and something we see often. Our teachers are experienced at gently drawing out quieter children at exactly the right pace. Many of our most confident senior students were once the shyest in the room — it's one of our favourite things to witness.
Exams are available through the IDTA for children who wish to take them, but they are never compulsory. We believe dance should always be joyful first. Exams are offered as an optional milestone for children and families who want them.
We'll guide you through this transition. When your child is ready (usually around 5–5½ years), we'll recommend moving them up. It's a natural, positive step and children usually love the feeling of moving to the "next" class.
Term dates and full fee information are available on our main website. Term 1 2026/27 runs from 7th September, Term 2 from 4th January 2027, and Term 3 from 12th April 2027. Please contact us directly for current fee details.
